About The Position

Our client has hired us to recruit a dynamic professional to join their Dallas-based surveying team with potential to grow into a national leadership role within this expanding land surveying business. This role is slated for a salary of $150,000-185,000 with a clear path to Director / C-Level promotion. Excellent firm with outstanding benefits! Overview: Seeking a licensed Professional Land Surveyor to lead a team in delivering high-volume land survey projects. This role involves supervising staff, managing project workflows, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining quality control standards.

Requirements

Licensed RPLS in Texas (additional states preferred).
3-5 years of experience in both field and office surveying.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Carlson, ArcGIS, GPS, total stations, and lidar.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Strategic mindset with the ability to scale operations nationally.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor survey staff; oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Manage land survey projects, including scheduling, staffing, and consultant coordination.
Ensure accuracy of field data, calculations, and final deliverables.
Develop and implement quality control procedures.
Communicate project goals and updates to leadership and clients.
Maintain compliance with state statutes, industry standards, and contractual obligations.
Support business development efforts and foster client relationships.
