Requirements

  • Know land surveying practices, field procedures and terminology.
  • Have experience with total stations, GPS and data collectors.
  • Be willing to work hard, be reliable and willing to work in the field daily.
  • Have a valid driver’s license.
  • Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Be a team player.

Nice To Haves

  • An associate degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering Technology is a plus, but it is not required.
  • We're looking for someone with some professional experience, but if you are a recent grad, eager to learn and motivated, we are interested.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct topographic surveys, construction layout and GPS surveys.
  • Operate field surveying instruments, Trimble Total Stations, data collectors and GPS equipment.
  • Gather accurate field data and notes.
  • Set up, operate and maintain survey equipment.
  • Process and organize survey data for use in CAD.
  • Support land surveyors and engineering designers.
  • Travel to job sites in company-provided vehicles, including some that are out of town.
