About The Position

The Survey Technician will perform surveying duties to assist the Survey Lead. These duties include: Read and interpret property deeds Prepare deed composite Prepare boundary surveys and the associated metes and bounds descriptions Prepare ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys and the ability to review title commitments and reports Prepare WSSC easements Prepare various types of easements, including the associated metes and bounds descrptions Prepare subdivision plats Process topographic surveys Compute construction stakeout Process construction stakeout field notes and prepare cut sheets Interpret construction drawings Have a familiarity with surveying field procedures and equipment Prepare WSSC water and sewer asbuilt drawings Prepare house wall checks and final house location drawings Prepare condominium drawings

Requirements

• minimum of 2 years’ experience
• high school diploma or equivalent
• good driving record
• able to perform physical tasks
• detail oriented
• accurate
• work well with others
• dependable
• positive team player attitude
• ability to work overtime as needed
