Position Summary: JMT is currently seeking a Surveying Technician I - Rodman/Instrument Operator for their Knoxville, Tennessee Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the survey party crew chief with completing survey tasks and implementing proper surveying techniques in the field, the set-up and operation of survey equipment to collect data and to provide any needed support for the field survey party. This candidate will also assist boundary, topographic, as-built, and construction staking. Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.

• Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
• Valid Driver’s License Required
• Able to pass Background Check Required
• High school diploma or equivalent
