About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Crew Chief to join our ICE team to improve infrastructure in our Flint office. Candidates must have a high school diploma, but an associates degree or higher is preferred. A minimum of five years related experience of land and/or construction survey is required, but eight or more years is preferred. A valid driver's license and experience with Survey equipment is also required. Candidates should be self-motivated and able to work well with others. Typical responsibilities include: Conduct various types of surveying including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, subdivisions, construction stakeouts, etc. Interpret maps, plats, construction drawings and specifications Oversee the daily operation of a survey crew Document work performed and sketches Adhere to company standards for processing and storing data Perform various survey calculations Organize and maintain survey documentation Operate and maintain survey equipment Communicate project status to Project Managers and clients Research project information at the Registrar of Deeds Prepare forms and other paperwork in a timely manner Attend seminars and/or training classes Perform other duties as assigned Maintain excellent client relations Maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5 or more years of land and/or construction survey experience is required
  • Valid Driver’s license is required
  • Survey equipment (Trimble) experience is preferred
  • Candidates should be self-motivated and able to work well with others

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or higher is preferred
  • 8 or more years of related experience is preferred
