Position can be located at our Houston or The Woodlands office Job Description Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard surveying techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications Plan, schedules conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of the surveying work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope Perform work that involves conventional surveying practice but may include a variety of complex features Direct conversations with clients at beginning, during, and end of projects Capable of supervising or coordinating the work of surveyors, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments Seal professional surveying documents

Requirements

  • SIT or RPLS Licensure/DOT Precertification required
  • 8 yrs plus of experience in Land Surveying
  • Strong Computer Skills, working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation and Microsoft Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of BGE employees, clients, and others

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with civil engineering projects preferred
