About The Position

As a survey crew/party chief, you will engage in diverse survey tasks across various projects, including construction staking, boundary surveys, topography surveys, and ALTA surveys. Working under the guidance of our professional land survey manager, you will apply your comprehensive understanding of field concepts, practices, and procedures to contribute to the success of the team. This role also offers the opportunity to engage in project management responsibilities including project research, boundary calculations, and collaborate on project planning and coordination; enhancing your skills while ensuring the quality and precision of survey activities. You work in all types of terrain and weather conditions. This position includes: The use of a company truck for transportation to and from job sites. Applicable PPE (personal protective equipment) provided. Prescription safety eyewear and work boot reimbursement program. Company issued laptop. Cell phone reimbursement options. Receive fully paid training, opportunity to participate in our mentorship program, and gain hands-on experience by shadowing seasoned professionals.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
  • Registered as a Surveyor-in-Training (SIT), Surveyor Intern (SI), or 4 years of experience working with a licensed surveyor preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
  • The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
