Technical field work assisting on survey and mapping projects. Employees in this class operate various survey instruments in day-to-day operations of collecting data as part of a survey team and perform a variety of technical tasks. Work is completed under the direction of a licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper. The Public Works Survey and Mapping Division has a variety of customers and provides a wide range of products and services with a major focus on supporting the County's Capital Improvement Program and other initiatives. The Division consists of both office and field assigned staff. We are looking for a candidate that is action-oriented, has good communication skills and a can-do attitude, and is a continual learner. A successful employee in this position will want to learn the functions of the Division and be flexible, positive and a real team player. This position is located at: 22211 U.S. Highway 19 North, Building 16, Clearwater, FL 33765. Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday; 6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
