We are seeking a Survey Crew Chief to join our proactive team of ethical, talented, passionate professionals and leaders at our Farmington Hills, MI Office. ROWE is currently looking for a Survey Crew Chief to join our team. The Survey Crew Chief is responsible for researching previous survey evidence maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data for determining precise location and measurements of point elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction, map making, land division, titles, and/or other purposes. This position will play a big role in growing our Survey team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with a strong aptitude for math.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience performing survey field work.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical/judgment capabilities, and ability to work independently or on a team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, robotic instruments, and GPS, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Extensive fieldwork in all weather conditions and varying types of physical environments.
• Determining methods and procedures for establishing/reestablishing survey control.
• Keeping accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed.
• Operating GPS and Robotic Total Stations
• Managing project field tasks and team members.
• Maintaining equipment and survey vehicle.
