Job Summary: Assist in application of principles, methods, and techniques of surveying and mapping. Survey CAD Technician will be responsible for creating detailed survey drawings and maps using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (A.S.) in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred but not required; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Basic or advanced knowledge of surveying and mapping principles, techniques, and procedures; algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
  • Honest, Dependable, Thorough, and a Strong Work Ethic
  • Applicants will need to take a short CAD test to evaluate their level of knowledge in CAD.
  • Sponsorship not available now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in computer aided drafting applications with formal training in AutoCAD Civil 3D considered a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Performs surveying and mapping work involving measuring and recording data on land, buildings, or construction projects; processing field survey data, and creating maps using computer aided design software.
  • Ability to research property records, read and interpret survey maps and produce sketches, maps, and graphic representations as directed by Supervisor.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills and excellent attention to detail and accuracy
