ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary: · Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members. · Maintain operation status of all cameras and monitors including multi-plexers, quads, splitters, switchers, CPU alarm interfaces and other related equipment. · Establish and maintain relationships with outside vendors for all equipment that needs outside servicing and communication. · Maintain and program the operating functions of the surveillance and security system matrix. · Cooperate with management in the suggestion, design and installation of all projects as required by business needs. · Stay current on industry trends and technological advances. · Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies. · Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner. · Perform the duties of a Surveillance Agent when needed. · Performs other job related and compatible duties as assigned. · Responsible for supervising technician staff and the overall daily management of the Surveillance technician team. Supports, administers and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives. · Participate in the hiring process by attending interview and making recommendations in staffing. · Safeguards company assets at all times. · Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience Three years’ experience within this technical field preferred Must possess a certification from one or more Surveillance Management Systems. Must possess or be able to obtain a certification on the Jamul Casino Resort’s Surveillance Management System. Must be proficient in Microsoft applications Ability to be contacted after hours or need to be available on an on-call status and be able to respond quickly during emergency situations Ability to read and write accurate and factual reports and support documents Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history as determined by Jamul Casino auto insurance carrier Ability to lift, push, and pull cables and equipment and effectively and efficiently move around work areas Must be able to work with various tools used in the electronic, CCTV, computer and electrical/mechanical fields including but limited to working on ladders, lifts and in crawl spaces Knowledge and understanding of electronic, video, and alarm functions Knowledge and understanding of computers, report writing and document management Ability to earn and maintain TiPS certification Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job may or may not have supervisory responsibilities. Responsible for staff development and training programs. Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize employee engagement. Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to employees in regards to performance. Provides recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business needs. Manages work procedures and expedites workflow. Provides recommendation for employee performance (disciplining, coaching, and counseling).
