About The Position

The Surveillance Shift Manager supervises the Surveillance Observers & Technicians on the day-to day operations. Observes, reports and monitors operations to protect the property’s assets, reputation, and standards, and to ensure compliance with Tribal-State compact. Authority over monitor room as outlined in the department procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field
• Three year's surveillance experience in a gaming environment required
• One year as a floor supervisor or dealer in tribal gaming required
• Must have dealt at least three main table games (craps, roulette, and blackjack)
• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
• Must have good hand and eye coordination and finger dexterity
• Must be able to lift or carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Must have the mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis
• Must be able to work in confined spaces for long periods of time
• Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment
• Our facilities operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This position may require evening, weekend, and holiday availability as business needs dictate.
• All applicants must obtain and maintain a Class III A license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
• Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions; marijuana use will not disqualify an applicant unless the role requires operating a company vehicle.
