Delaware North Gaming is seeking a full-time Surveillance Officer to join our team at Hamburg Gaming in Hamburg, New York . As a Surveillance Officer, you will be conducting facility-wide surveillance camera operations to assist in the protection and safety of the property for guests and team members. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year related experience
  • Able to obtain and maintain state gaming license
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage crowds effectively
  • Computer skills including e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets, routine database activity, and record keeping
  • Basic knowledge and/or training in investigations
  • No high school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to hear and speak to communicate on two-way radio
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Work environment may consist of a dark area viewing video monitors for entire shift
  • Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Enforce State Video Lottery regulations and ensure compliance
  • Monitor gaming room floor and cash operations for procedural violations and illegal activity
  • Utilize audio and video equipment to observe business operations and write timely reports on any violations
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of camera locations, view angles, and ensure proper functioning of surveillance equipment
  • Monitor facility intrusion and panic alarms, reporting any deficiencies promptly
