Surveillance Engineering Manager

About The Position

Incumbent in this position is responsible for the management of system administration and PC/Server installations for all CCTV, Access Control and Digital Recording Head-end Systems. Supervises and may also perform the duties of the Physical Security Engineer as needed.

Requirements

Ability to thoroughly understand and apply the principles of “Electronic Theory”
Strong working knowledge of IT networks and infrastructure
Strong computer and mathematical skills
Ability to use manual and/or power tools related to installation in new construction and/or old construction low voltage environment
Ability to work in high areas using both ladders and aerial lifts
Ability to remain calm under stressful situations by analyzing, prioritizing, and using sound judgment to resolve issues
Good interpersonal, oral, written and telephone communication skills
High School diploma or equivalent
Ten (10) years in an IT application support or computer-related position
Eight (8) years in an IT application support or computer-related security environment
Six (6) years as a Physical Security Engineer
Three (3) years’ supervisory or management experience in the physical security field
Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, including on-call status when required
Valid motor vehicle operator’s license from state of residence
