Join the Serco team of highly skilled peers as a FST Network Lead providing engineering and logistics support including dockside and at-sea troubleshooting and repair of C4I systems and equipment for the Surveillance Towed Array Sensor System (SURTASS) on the Auxiliary Ocean Surveillance (T-AGOS) class. This position is a Full-Time member of the FST located in Virginia Beach, VA, and reports to the FST manager. In this role you will: Lead FST teams in providing operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair support to all C4I systems and networks onboard SURTASS vessels. Utilize the WILD trouble ticket application to log all maintenance trouble tickets for action in the JSN/WKRQ log. Submit, track, and/or verify trouble tickets are submitted to external commands, as required, and actively working to resolve open trouble tickets. Generate reports for SURTASS mission systems status as directed by the Government. Provide technical assistance to SURTASS mission systems to troubleshoot, repair, test, and return to service. Conduct all tenets of In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) responsibilities in accordance with SPAWARINST 5400 (series) and intermediate and depot level maintenance on SURTASS mission systems and support handling equipment. Conduct refresher training (REFTRA) in accordance with contract/Navy requirements. Review Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Engineering Changes (ECs), and Requests for Variance (RFV), and develop schedules for implementation. Utilize the WILD trouble ticket application to log all maintenance trouble tickets for action in the Job Sequence Number (JSN)/Military Sealift Command (MSC) Work Request (WKRQ) log. Review technical manuals, publications, and maintenance procedures, and provide recommended revisions to the Government. Identify and report system/software design problems and deficiencies for mission systems. Provide on-the-job training (OJT) and technical training to O&M Technician Crewmembers and document training in accordance with contract/Navy requirements. Support Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs), Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs), In Process Reviews (IPRs), and Integrated Logistics Overhauls (ILOs). Perform Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RM&A) analysis of mission system equipment. Provide data in support of the Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS). Perform and support configuration management for the mission system(s). Maintain and update Technical Data Packages (TDP) for the mission system(s) Perform exterior maintenance and preservation on modular mission systems. Participate in inspections, Material Assessment and Readiness Testing (SMART) inspections. Other duties may be assigned.
