The Surplus Lines Integration Analyst serves as a key figure in ensuring compliance with surplus lines tax regulations while contributing to Gallagher’s growth through acquisitions. This role encompasses the management of surplus lines tax compliance activities, the facilitation of integration efforts for newly acquired entities, and the provision of guidance on tax-related matters throughout the M&A process. Through these efforts, the analyst ensures regulatory compliance, enhances operational efficiency, and aligns tax functions with Gallagher’s overarching business objectives. This role requires extensive billing and surplus lines expertise, strong analytical capabilities, experience in mergers and acquisitions, and the ability to operate with a high level of autonomy. A key aspect of this position is fostering trust and confidence in the billing team’s services by building and maintaining strong relationships with branch partners.
