Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (CAHEA or equivalent)
- Level I Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
- AST certification if required
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain sterile fields for surgeries
- Anticipate the needs of surgeons and the surgical team
- Manage surgical instruments and assist during procedures
- Ensure patient safety and proper positioning
- Follow strict infection control and safety protocols
- Document procedures and handle surgical specimens
