About The Position

As part of the team, you will be pursuing the most advanced, innovative and cost-effective treatment options, so that our patients receive personalized, custom care best suited to their situation. Under minimal supervision, assists physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in an environment that may include all aspects of cutaneous oncology both medical and surgical. Maintains efficient patient flow, assists with patient care, i.e., exams, procedures, and patient education. Performs miscellaneous clinic support tasks including filing, answering phones, and maintaining physicians’ schedules. Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Surgical Technology or most recent position within one year as Surgical Technologist in a clinic or hospital setting with five years’ experience
  • Minimum of 0-3 years’ experience for a graduate or 5-6 years for current Surgical Technologist
  • Current CPR certification is required

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) strongly preferred
