Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Current BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted) upon hire and maintain current

Nice To Haves

Neuro and Spine Scrub experience is a plus!!
Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in various surgical specialties
Graduation from an ORT training program within 6 months of hire or on the job training with a minimum of 2 years experience in a surgical setting

Responsibilities

Set up surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures.
Maintain a sterile environment and sterilize all instruments before surgery.
Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon and assist with various tasks.
Count and manage sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures.
Help position and drape patients appropriately for surgery.
Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations.
