About The Position

Position Overview Bonus : $6,000.00 sign on bonus Department : Electrophysiology Lab Schedule : 4 10's No weekends, No holidays, No Call Work Location : UAB St. Vincents East Trussville Benefits for eligible positions only include : generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do Facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies. Hand required and requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery. Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients. Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor and track instruments counts throughout procedures. Assist surgeons provision of hemostasis during surgery.

Requirements

High school diploma equivalency AND completion of a surgical technologist program with a clinical component OR a minimum of 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree or technical degree preferred.
No additional preferences.
