HSHS is seeking dedicated and mission-driven Surgical Technologists to join our dynamic Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)or Operating Room (OR) teams. Surgical Technologists assist surgical team members in providing intraoperative care to the perioperative patient by preparing and monitoring equipment, passing instruments, maintaining the sterile field, assisting with patient transfer and positioning, and performing a variety of surgical skills and procedures New grads welcome to apply! Position Specifics: Department: CVOR or OR Core Function: Surgical Schedule: Part time and Full time available, Days. Weekends, on call and holiday rotation Facility: St. Vincent Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital Location: Green Bay, WI Sign On: OR $10,000 (.8 FTE or higher), CVOR $10,000 (.8 FTE or higher)($20,000 for those who have at least 2 years experience in the CVOR) Compensation aligned with your experience For more questions contact Lauren Aman at [email protected] Education Qualifications Graduated from a recognized surgical technology program or currently enrolled in and expected to graduate from a recognized surgical technology program within nine (9) months of hire or has successfully completed military training in surgical technology is required. Military documentation to establish education includes a DD214 demonstrating graduation from a military training program. Illinois: High School Diploma or GED PLUS 3 years working as a Surgical Technologist working in healthcare setting may be considered in lieu of education. Associates degree in surgical technology is preferred. Experience Qualifications N/A Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Certified Surgical Technologists (CST) issued by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is preferred.
