Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Certified Surgical Technology program
Must be certified through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
Active BLS certification
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as a Labor and Delivery Surgical Technologist

Responsibilities

Set up surgical instruments and equipment and maintain sterility.
Assist with preparing patients for the operating room or delivery.
Pass instruments and other sterile supplies to surgeons and assist with holding retractors and other instruments.
Maintain inventory in all delivery and operating rooms.
Perform key clerical duties, including accurately entering patient orders, maintaining up-to-date delivery logs, and conducting daily patient census checks.
