About The Position
Join our dedicated team at the Lee Health - General Surgery ASC @ Metro, where we provide high-quality, patient-centered surgical care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.We are currently seeking aSurgical Technologists II to support our operating rooms and ensure optimal outcomes for our patients. The surgical technologist II functions in a perioperative surgical technologist role under the direction of the circulating Registered Nurse. Able to prioritize, organize and implement care of the surgical patient in a variety of specialties. Performs call obligations as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent, and graduate of accredited program for surgical technologists or accredited vocational school of nursing.
- Experience:Previous experience in an outpatient or hospital OR setting is required
- Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) through the AHA (American Heart Association) required. CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) through the NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) preferred.
