We currently have a full-time, CVOR Surg tech opportunity at our Banner Estrella location! The preferred candidate will have prior CVOR experience. Shift: Day shift 3'12s Hours: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM On-Call: Yes Enjoy a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential and an 18%-night shift differential when applicable. POSITION SUMMARY This position selects and places surgical instruments, supplies and equipment during surgery. Scrubs and provides instruments, sutures, and other sterile supplies during surgical procedure. Participants in the training and orientation of surgical technology staff and students, as assigned. Is proficient to scrub on a minimum of two surgical specialties. The Cardiovascular Operating Room Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting the physician with advanced tasks during surgical procedures which include cardiopulmonary bypass/heart-lung machine use, cardiac assistive devices, and vascular access and interventions. The CVOR ST must be able to work under high pressure in a fast paced environment.
