About The Position

The Surgery Department is looking for a Surgical Technician to join their growing team! Hours: Varies Weekend and call rotation will be required Position Summary: The Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment, and supporting the surgical team. This role ensures instruments and supplies are available and functioning properly to promote safe, efficient patient care.

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist
• BLS certification
• Meets health requirements
• Must be able to deal with multiple priorities calmly
• Good organizational skills
• Good time management skills, can prioritize
• Resourceful – aware of resources available for use
• Able to work independently
• Quick learner
• Able to work with all types of people
• Communication skills
• Requires decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in surgical care services with knowledge of aseptic principles preferred
