About The Position

Surgical Technician at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka, CA. The positions available are Full-Time and will work 12-hour Day or Evening shifts. Our hospital is located in Eureka, California, nestled among the beaches, redwood forests, and rivers of Humboldt County—a truly unique place to live and work. We are excited to announce the opening of an additional Operating Room at our main campus, which creates an opportunity to expand our team. Our department includes 8 Operating Rooms supporting a wide range of service lines, including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Gynecology, Neurosurgery, Robotics, Pulmonology, Endoscopy, Dental, Podiatry, Plastic Surgery, and Vascular Surgery. Requirements

  • Coursework/Training: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program within 1 year of employment.
  • NCST or NCCT Upon hire: National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
