This is a non-benefited 10-hr per diem position at Scripps Clinic in Rancho Bernardo. Hours are M-F 6\:30am-5pm with 10 hour shifts. The Surgical Tech will: ensure operating rooms are ready for surgery, including all case-specific supplies and equipment are sterile and ready for use. Monitor sterile field throughout procedure. Scrub for cases, anticipate the needs of the physician and operating team. Surgery cases; ENT, GYN, Urology, Plastics, Pain, GI and Podiatry #LI-EE1

Requirements

  • One year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to multi-task and work well in a team environment
  • Detail oriented and able work well in a fast-paced, high stress environment
  • Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider required

  • 2+ years’ experience
