Requirements
- One (1) year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to multi-task and work well in a team environment.
- Detail oriented and able work well in a fast-paced, high stress environment.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years’ experience in the main OR
- CST Certification
Responsibilities
- Ensure OR rooms are ready for surgery, including all case-specific supplies and equipment are sterile and ready for use.
- Monitor sterile field throughout procedure.
- Scrub for cases, anticipate the needs of the physician and operating team.
- Position and transport patients.
- Organize room cleanup and ensure efficient room turnover, including decontaminating equipment as necessary.
