Position Summary: This position is a non-licensed/certified staff member authorized to transport and/or stock medications to meet specified essential job duties. This includes staff who do not have the authority to prescribe, dispense, and/or administer medications. Performs in the scrub role during surgical procedures, following all established Nursing Standards and Hospital Policies. Assists with other patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Requirements

High School or equivalent
1 to 2 years experience preferred

Nice To Haves

graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech School

Responsibilities

Performs in the scrub role during surgical procedures, following all established Nursing Standards and Hospital Policies.
Assists with other patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team.
