About The Position

Assists the Clinical Director in leading the patient care team to meet the needs of the customers and to oversee clinical operations to achieve departmental objectives. Assumes responsibility and accountability for the direction, implementation and evaluation of patient care services within the Perioperative Setting at the direction of the Clinical Director and in their absence. At Cooper University Health Care, you'll find one of the most dynamic surgical environments in the region. Cooper's Camden Campus is South Jersey's only Level I Adult Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, our OR team cares for some of the most complex and meaningful cases you'll encounter. With 30 operating rooms and over 70 surgeries each day, you'll be part of a team that thrives in a fast-paced, high-tech setting while delivering world-class care. Requirements

  • 2 years of OR RN experience
  • Communication - Ability to communicate with patients, visitors and coworkers required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency of the NDNQI database for nursing sensitive indicators and others as required.
  • Strong level of confidentiality due to the sensitivity of materials and information handled required.
  • Computer literacy required.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills required.
  • Good organizational skills to handle multiple priorities while remaining professional and calm required.
  • Ability to work with many diverse people required.
  • Effective telephone skills required.
  • Written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills required.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in the realization of performance objectives and previous experience in performance-based evaluations required.
  • High School/GED required.
  • Current licensure as a RN in the state of New Jersey required.
  • Valid Driver's license required.
  • 6:30A-3P
  • Weekend, holiday, and call rotation required
  • Minimum 2 years experiences in a Perioperative support services role with relevant experience and knowledge of OR equipment.
