About The Position

Dermatology Physician Assistant Job with Surgical Focus in the Washington, DC Metro Area Job-8405 Must have 2+ years of dermatology / surgical experience as a PA. A respected, physician-led dermatology practice in an established Maryland suburb is seeking an experienced Dermatology Physician Assistant with strong surgical skills to join a collaborative, high-functioning team. This role is designed for a PA who values precision, structure and meaningful involvement in patient care. Opportunity Highlights: Established private practice with a dedicated Mohs surgery unit and strong clinical support Surgical-forward role: 2–3 days assisting in Mohs surgery; 1–2 days in general dermatology (cosmetics optional) Hands-on surgical involvement including suturing, pre-op and post-op care, patient follow-ups and surgical flow coordination Balanced, realistic patient volumes with multiple MAs supporting both surgical and clinic days Competitive compensation based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package including malpractice, health, dental, vision, 401(k), CME, PTO and holidays Candidate Profile: Dermatology PA with 2+ years of general dermatology and surgical experience Surgical experience is essential; confidence in Mohs assist workflows required Comfortable practicing independently within a well-organized clinical model The Area: Located just outside Washington, DC, this highly desirable community offers walkable neighborhoods, top-tier dining, boutique shopping and easy access to the city’s cultural, professional and academic centers—all while maintaining a polished, residential feel.
