About The Position
Seeking an experienced Surgical Physician Assistant to support surgeons across inpatient, outpatient, telehealth, and operative settings. This role includes first assisting in surgery, inpatient rounding, consultations, wound care, bedside procedures, clinic management, and call coverage.
Requirements
- National PA certification
- 5+ years of APP experience
- Vein harvesting experience required
- DEA license as applicable
- ACLS as applicable
- Eligible for credentialing and privileges
Responsibilities
- Perform H&Ps and develop treatment plans
- Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests
- First assist in surgery
- Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care
- Perform inpatient rounding, wound care, and consultations
- Manage outpatient clinic visits and procedures
- Educate patients and families
- Participate in call coverage, including weekends as needed
