About The Position

The Surgical COA is responsible for performing multiple duties within the clinical setting, all intended to facilitate the smooth operation of a medical office and related surgical/procedural activities. This role involves coordinating patient appointments, surgeries, other procedures, and ancillary testing. Additionally, the COA provides academic support and/or transcription support, and acts as a primary interface between surgeons and patients.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma
  • 2+ years experience in a clerical setting
  • Demonstrated customer service experience

Nice To Haves

  • Equivalent college coursework in the secretarial or medical sciences
  • Experience preferably in a medical environment
