About The Position
The Surgical Care Tech cleans and disinfects operating room equipment as assigned and performs housekeeping duties such as cleaning stretchers and equipment, and terminally cleaning the Surgical Department. The Operating Room at Chelsea performs over 5,000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries annually across various specialties including gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, otorhinolaryngology, podiatry, plastic surgery, and spine surgery.
Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma
- A minimum of one-year previous related experience
Responsibilities
- Cleans and disinfects operating room equipment as assigned
- Performs housekeeping duties (Cleaning stretchers, equipment, terminally cleaning of the Surgical Department, etc.)
