About The Position

Surgery Scheduling Supervisor - Westmont - Orthpaedics Position Highlights: Full-Time, 40 hours per week Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm; may start earlier/end later as needed Location: Westmont MOB Travel: Required to travel to any Ortho clinic sites when/as needed; also required to travel to Corporate for meetings Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits that include healthcare navigation assistance. Requirements

  • Surgery Scheduling experience preferred
  • Current IL RN License or clinical exerience required
  • If a clinical professional, current licensure in good standing required.
  • Associates and or Bachelor's degree in Health care or Business Management preferred
  • Knowledge of OSHA, and HIPAA.
  • Prefer a minimum of two years in a supervisory role in a health care setting

Responsibilities

  • Planning: Participates in planning discussions with input into goals for the Practice. Focused more on schedules of staff and physicians ensuring resources are available to meet anticipated daily work loads.
  • Controlling: Responsible for assessing work against expected outcomes: productivity, quality, timeliness. Tracks and trends work outcomes. Recommends improvements in work processes.
  • Human Resources: Hires, orients, and trains staff. Conducts performance appraisals, coaches and disciplines staff. Ensures work expectations, Duly and Practice policies are communicated and responsibilities are understood. Seeks guidance and support from Practice Manager in managing staff.
  • Patient Satisfaction: Responds to patient complaints and works to resolve. Appropriately involves the Practice Manager if resolution cannot be reached.
  • Duly Health and Care Activities: Member of the Management Team, representing their Practice to other Duly Health and Care management associates. May participate in Ad Hoc or Standing Committees. Representative of Duly Health and Care in the community at large.
