About The Position
The Surgery Scheduler Coordinator schedules all procedures to be performed within the surgical unit and those procedures outside the surgical area that require an anesthesiologist. Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferable
- BCLS preferred
- A minimum of 6months experience in clerical position with hospital or medical exposure is preferred
- Computer exposure preferred
- Demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills
- Ability to exercise good judgement and tact
