About The Position

As our Surgery Scheduler, you will be a critical orchestrator of complex operational logistics, ensuring seamless alignment of resources, personnel, and services. Every day, you will expertly manage intricate scheduling and resource allocation while meticulously entering and maintaining data. You will also produce schedules, and oversee template maintenance. To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, strong communication, and proficiency with scheduling systems. Your proactive approach and commitment to operational precision are paramount. Identifies opportunities and participates in improving the quality of patient care and/or work processes. Participates in department/clinic-based teams and projects. Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to support changing needs of the organization. Utilizes, maintains and allocates equipment and supplies so that time, energy and/or funds are expended in a cost-effective and efficient manner. Involves others as appropriate (staff/departments) in planning and prioritizing work. Utilizes time efficiently through proper time management, including assisting others and accomplishing other work-related tasks.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate General Studies and One (1) year experience in a surgery scheduling setting , upon hire or High School GED General Studies and One (1) year experience in a surgeryscheduling setting, upon hire
  • minimum 2 years clinical back office experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with multi-line phones/ACDphones
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, upon hire or Cert Med Asst - MMCI, upon hire or Registered Medical Assistant AMT, upon hire or Medical Assistant Certification: CA, upon hire
