About The Position
Digestive Specialists is seeking a Surgery Scheduler Specialist for a fast-paced, high-volume clinic located at 6124 West Parker Road Plano, Texas 75093. The position is full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. The department offers a positive work environment, a collaborative team, and opportunities for growth. Texas Health Physicians Group (THPG) encompasses over 1,000 physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants across more than 240 offices in the DFW Metroplex. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Two Years of related experience in Healthcare environment
- Knowledge of Insurance Verificatin, Referrals and Pre-Certifications
- Surgery Scheduling experience
- Thrive in a Fast-Paced environment, working with multiple providers' schedules
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, Register and Schedule appointments for patients according to availabiliy
- Conduct patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care
- Ensure all required tests needed prior to surgery are done
- Schedule any necessary follow-up appointments
