Surgery Counselor
About The Position
Large multi- specialty medical practice is seeking a full time coordinator. The coordinator will be responsible for educating the patients about surgery and reviewing all surgical options available to them. This position is responsible for 'closing the sale' and scheduling all necessary appointments associated with their procedure. Also responsible for performing routine follow-up communication for those that have not proceeded with surgery due to financing, hesitation, questions, etc. helping to eliminate any concerns or obstacles. Position also serves as a liaison with referring doctors and their staff that have shared care of mutual patients.
