About The Position

Pay range: - Hourly $27.98 - $41.97 The Surgery Coordinator that will provide centralized scheduling for all colorectal procedures and referrals for colon screenings. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a clinical or hospital scheduling environment required.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures
• Customer relation skills with a significant impact on patient safety, customer satisfaction and resources utilization.
• Ability to multi-task, be organized and detail oriented.
• Demonstrated proficient computer keyboard skills, knowledge of Word and Excel programs.
• Knowledge of ICD10 and CPT codes.
• Knowledge of medical insurance and understanding not limited to benefits, authorizations and pre-certifications.
• Demonstrated ability to handle a wide variety of functions simultaneously with many interruptions.
