About The Position

Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention. Pay range: - Hourly $27.98 - $41.97 The Surgery Coordinator that will provide centralized scheduling for all colorectal procedures and referrals for colon screenings. In addition, this role will provide backup support to the surgery scheduler as needed. Full-time/40 hours per week Monday - Friday no weekends or holidays

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two years’ experience in a clinical or hospital scheduling environment required.
Knowledge of surgical procedures
Customer relation skills with a significant impact on patient safety, customer satisfaction and resources utilization.
Ability to multi-task, be organized and detail oriented.
Demonstrated proficient computer keyboard skills, knowledge of Word and Excel programs.
Knowledge of ICD10 and CPT codes.
Knowledge of medical insurance and understanding not limited to benefits, authorizations and pre-certifications.
Demonstrated ability to handle a wide variety of functions simultaneously with many interruptions.

Nice To Haves

Prior surgery scheduling experience preferred.
