As a Surface Landman, you will manage all surface land activities across operated assets, working closely with operations, regulatory, legal, and external stakeholders to ensure surface access is secured, maintained, and compliant throughout the full lifecycle of company assets. In this role, you will bring strong Wyoming surface experience and work directly with private landowners, grazing lessees, and federal and state agencies, supported by a solid understanding of drilling, completions, production, and reclamation operations. You will coordinate with asset teams on development planning for well sites, water use, access roads, pipelines, and electrical infrastructure; negotiate, draft, and administer surface use, damages, access, and road use agreements; and serve as the primary point of contact for surface owners and regulatory agencies. Additionally, you will support permitting efforts with organizations such as the Wyoming Oil & Gas Conservation Commission, BLM, and State Lands, ensure surface title and curative work is completed, and proactively resolve surface access issues to keep development activities aligned with project schedules. Your work will challenge you, and with our Core Values to guide you, you’ll quickly learn and grow with us.
