X67 SUPVR TEST INSPECTION 1 (COATING)
About The Position
Coating Inspection supervises employees who test and/or inspect critical coated products to determine compliance with specifications. Potential candidate shall have a valid coating inspection certification (NBPI or NACE 1 or PCI 2) with 2 years minimal experience. Potential candidate must be detailed oriented, able to train inspectors how to navigate procedures, drawing, coating records and utilize all inspection gages. Perform daily deck plate observation assessment of inspections performed by team. Apprentice graduate, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 4 years of applicable technical experience. OR Related Apprentice certification (i.e. NDT, Dimensional Control) & 0 Years. Master’s degree and 2 years relevant experience.
Requirements
- Apprentice graduate, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 4 years of applicable technical experience. OR Related Apprentice certification (i.e. NDT, Dimensional Control) & 0 Years. Master’s degree and 2 years relevant experience.
- 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree.
- 8 years related non-exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree and experience.
- NBPI or NACE Level 1 or PCI 2
Nice To Haves
- The candidate should be able to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Confidential Clearance.
- It is preferable the candidate has a coating inspection experience and coating and surface preparation treatment background.
- Along with a working knowledge of Submarines, Fleet Support and Aircraft Carrier coating inspection methods.
