Waypoint Analytical is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nutrien, LTD.What You'll Do:The Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the analytical testing operations of the Greenville, NC laboratory to ensure exceptional service delivery to clients. This role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective execution of all operational activities, while striving for continuous improvement and excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any natural science field (required).
  • 5 years of experience in laboratory management or a related field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 - 7 years of environmental laboratory experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the Greenville, NC analytical team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines.Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, share updates, and foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of services and systems to effectively assist the team and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and customer service standards.

  • Other duties as required.
