Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health opened its doors this April as the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 25 years! Integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC's), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8, this enhanced integrated delivery system will establish a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it will ensure residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. Much more is available at: https://cedarhillregional.com/ We are seeking a Supervisor, Environmental Services / EVS (Part-Time) Our ideal candidate will be responsible for the supervision of our Environmental Services Workers and oversee work inâ¯patient rooms, nursing areas, public and private restrooms, public areas, linen services, trash and hazardous waste disposal, floor care, work order requests, and special projects. This supervisor also serves as the liaison and first point of contact for all internal and external issues related to the EVS operations and services provided to patients, staff, and visitors, in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Must complete Hazardous Materials Training for Generators within 60 Days of hire
At least one (1) yearsâ¯of leadership experience; leadership in an Environmental Services position preferred
Previous experience in a hospital environment preferred
Experience using LEAN or other similar performance improvement methods to transform operations preferred
Excellent customer service skills
Strong oral and written communication skills Strategic planning skills
Ability and experience to interact as a business partner to other departments and executives within the hospital and with external customers/partners

Nice To Haves

leadership in an Environmental Services position preferred
Previous experience in a hospital environment preferred
