About The Position

Responsible for overseeing the Client Site Liaison team. Supervises department Liaisons ensuring provide the highest levels of client satisfaction and patient care. Supervises and monitors daily workload and assigning training projects that address department needs. Coordinates and assesses the effectiveness of training to confirm it meets expectations of ARUP and client site. This position will oversee the majority of the Central or Midwest states. States will include North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Responsibilities

  • Formulates goals, recommends policy, assigns objectives, and establishes standards of practice for the team.
  • Maintains procedures, training manuals/modules, and protocols required to ensure that Client Site Liaisons are properly trained and prepared to submit patient samples to ARUP, use ARUP client facing applications/services, and to act as a resource for client inquiries.
  • Oversees the design, development and implementation of training content.
  • Coordinates and assigns team projects.
  • Identifies knowledge and performance gaps and oversees developing training content to respond to needs.
  • Monitors competency and performance of team members.
  • Resolves issues with Client Site Liaison noncompliance.
  • Establishes frequent communication with onsite employees to identify areas of concern and/or improvement
  • Will act as a leadership liaison for the team and between all departments at ARUP and with all clients.
  • Attend appropriate meetings and in-services representing the department in meetings or committees.
  • Provides schedules that meet department training needs.
  • Approves time clock and attendance.
  • Appraises and evaluates employees at six (6) months for new employees and on an annual basis thereafter.
  • Provides and documents initial counseling at the section level as necessary.
  • Provides input to the Group Manager for subsequent counseling or disciplinary actions.
  • Responsible for budgetary oversight of section.
  • Assists Group Manager by providing input for Strategic Planning, annual budget, and Standards of performance.
  • Recommends merit increases.
  • Reports budget variations and workload fluctuations to Manager.
  • Meets all deadlines in providing requested information.
  • Provides quarterly section status reports.
  • Assists in development of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assuring that all documentation are extremely accurate and ready for inspections or audits.
  • Closely communicates and works with Account Executives (AEs) and client personnel.
  • Conducts self in a professional manner at all times.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
