Job Summary Directs academic and enrichment activities for the program. Communicates staff expectations in conjunction with the Site Supervisor. Provides a safe and developmentally appropriate learning experience for students in grade Pre K4, complying with rules, regulations, and policy.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years applicable experience Required
  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Valid drivers license Required

Nice To Haves

  • Background knowledge in Federal and State grants preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Federal and State laws and regulation of and District policies and procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises assistants adhering to rules, regulations, and policy.
  • Communicates and plans regularly with direct report.
  • Develops and implements engaging instruction and enrichment opportunities for students and families.
  • Maintains accurate documentation, including but not limited to, attendance, emergency contact, incident reports, and accounting reports.
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings, planning, and trainings sessions.
  • Implements safety and emergency procedures in conjunction with policy and procedures.
  • Implements evacuation and other safety drills with students and staff on a regular basis.
  • Develops positive relationships with Extended Learning leadership team, school staff, and community partners.
