Do you love to make a difference in the lives of people who experience developmental disabilities? Wall Residences is seeking a Supported Living/In-Home Program Manager with the following qualifications: Clinical background with working knowledge of person-centered service development and positive behavior supports The ability to develop supportive relationships with Direct Support Professional Staff as well as with individuals who receive services and their families A background connecting people to meaningful community activities Wall Residences Supported Living program is a supportive in-home service directed by the individual and their person-centered plan. The program supports adults with intellectual disabilities with skill- building, and managing routine, general, and safety supports that enable an individual to acquire, retain, or improve the self-direction, socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to be successful in home and community-based settings. The program is designed to optimize an individual’s initiative, autonomy, and self-awareness both at home and in the community. Supported Living assists with managing all aspects necessary for individuals to maintain independence in their own homes while being provided access to 24-hour support. Specialized supervision provides staff presence for ongoing or intermittent intervention, ensuring an individual’s health and safety, addressing necessary activities of daily living (ADLs), managing instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), and the provision of general supports necessary for personal growth and quality of life. Supported Living serves to develop and/or generalize skills through skill building that promotes self-direction and social connections.

Requirements

  • Clinical background with working knowledge of person-centered service development and positive behavior supports
  • The ability to develop supportive relationships with Direct Support Professional Staff as well as with individuals who receive services and their families
  • A background connecting people to meaningful community activities
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field
  • Active driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Criminal background check with acceptable results

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of experience in the field of developmental disabilities (DD)
  • Two years’ experience supervising employees
