About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Develop and maintain relationships with referral agencies and funders. 2. Identify and maintain current information about community resources that may benefit program participants. 3. Identify treatment and service needs of each individual served. 4. Develop treatment plan. Monitor and evaluate progress of the treatment plan, assisting and facilitating as appropriate. 5. Assist with multi-disciplinary college and university student training. 6. Monitor and control expenses and ensure efficiency in rehabilitation services, including billable hours and client funding. 7. Maintain current and accurate case notes, ISP’s and progress notes. 8. Provide transportation to participants as needed. 9. Have access to a safe, reliable vehicle. 10.Assess safety needs of program participants, developing and implementing safety plans. 11.Manage double signature accounts or serve as a payee for program participants. NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Perform other related duties as required or assigned #ind123 QualificationsEDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE: 1. Bachelor's degree in social work, social science, rehabilitation or other counseling related field. 2. One year of related experience required. A Master’s degree may be substituted for the year of experience. 3. Dependent Adult Abuse Training must be completed within the first 6 months of employment. 4. Certificate of Completion in CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Prevention Institute) must be obtained in the first 12 months of employment. 5. Must attend Building Pride orientation within probationary period. 6. Must complete all training per Required Training by Job Title spreadsheet. LICENSES REQUIRED: 1. Valid driver's license and pass motor vehicle driving record screening. 2. State required vehicle insurance. 3. Pass child/dependent adult abuse and criminal history background check. 4. Must use a smart phone in order to access work-related apps when traveling to work with participants. EQUIPMENT USED: • Basic Office Equipment • Computer • Use of own vehicle required (Mileage reimbursement provided) WORK TRAITS: 1. Ability to model and enforce Goodwill policies. 2. Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with clients, families, and professionals. 3. Knowledge of community resources and legal, financial and insurance issues. MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Must be 18 years of age or older. 2. Ability to make effective decisions. 3. Ability to use problem solving skills and creativity. 4. Ability to coordinate and schedule multiple activities WORK CONDITIONS: 1. May work indoors or outdoors. 2. Conditions vary depending upon the job site and could include but are not limited to standing, sitting, lifting and carrying. 3. Travel between job sites required
