As a Support Teacher at Primrose School of West Allen, you’ll help to create a fun, safe environment for little ones as they explore and learn through purposeful play that nurtures their social, emotional, cognitive, creative and physical development. Utilize your unique skills to create a classroom culture. Responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children. Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose school of west Allen and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children. Requirements

  • Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred
  • Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
  • Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose school of west Allen and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
  • Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
  • Work with your co-teacher to implement the lesson plans from the research-informed Balanced Learning® curriculum.
  • Help children explore the world, improve their motor skills and grow their vocabulary.
  • Spend your days building genuine relationships with each child.
